AORTO PULMONARY WINDOW

    This is a malformation where there is partial lack of development of the septum at the level of the primitive trunk it is probably a transitional variant of truncus arteriosus.
    Clinically behaves as in arteriovenous shunt with rapid evolution toward pulmonary hypertension and Elsenmenger's Complex. Some times, a continuous murmur can easily simulate PDA.
    Angiography with aortic root angiogram allows an accurate diagnosis.
